Managed IoT Connectivity Services, Worldwide
Gartner recognizes AT&T as a "Leader" in their 2019 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Managed IoT Connectivity Services, Worldwide report based on our "ability to execute" and "completeness of vision".
The annual report assesses the strengths and cautions of 18 vendors across the globe.
As Gartner notes, "managed IoT connectivity services enable businesses to collect, analyze and interact with data streams, thus providing businesses the ability to monitor, manage and control (manually and through automation) assets associated with business processes."
Gartner evaluates each vendor's "ability to execute" based on the following criteria:
Gartner suggests: "CIOs must insert themselves in the process of solution and vendor selection to determine if providers of managed IoT connectivity services can also provide a broader, preintegrated IoT solution. This strategy will ensure the cost-effectiveness and security of these solutions, as well as potentially reduce the opportunity costs of due diligence."
